Artemisia annua DMSO

Our Artemisia annua DMSO plant extract is made from pure leaves of the annual mugwort. A DMSO plant extract is of particularly high quality because DMSO effectively dissolves and binds both water- and fat-soluble substances. This property makes it possible to fully extract a broad spectrum of valuable plant ingredients. In addition, DMSO acts as a “channel opener” that penetrates biological membranes and can thus transport the active ingredients deep into the tissue, thereby increasing the bioavailability and effectiveness of the extracts.

This plant, which is native to the temperate zones of Asia, has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for over 2000 years. It is used to relieve fever, fight infections and in particular to prevent and treat malaria.

Artemisia is valued for its strong blood-purifying properties and is considered to be extremely effective against parasites and other infectious agents. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect of this plant is mainly due to the ingredients artemisinin and arteannuin. Various studies have also shown that annual mugwort has antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant and antiviral properties. Manufacture

Our DMSO plant extract is obtained from pure Artemisia annua leaves, which we cultivate ourselves in our own fields. The herbs are allowed to infuse for three weeks and are then bottled individually. From sowing and harvesting to the end product, we process our herbal products ourselves on our farm. This can be seen in the extremely high quality of our products.

Application

Artemisia annua (annual mugwort) is not permitted as a foodstuff in the European Union. Due to legislation, we can only provide limited information on the use of herbs. You can find some ways to inform yourself on our literature list.

Storage

At low temperatures (< 18°C) DMSO crystallizes. You can heat the plant extract at 20 to 22 degrees Celsius and liquefy it again. Store out of the reach of children.
