Quo Vadis Family – From “discontinued model” to vision of the future?

Lecture & parents’ workshop

Lecture: 21.03.2026, 4 pm

Quo Vadis Family – From “discontinued model” to vision of the future?
A plea for the family as the heart of a healthy society.

For decades, the family was seen as an “outdated model”. But while birth rates in Western countries are falling to historic lows, the mental and emotional state of our children is deteriorating dramatically.

The historian, musician and childhood researcher Michael Hüter, author of the bestseller “Childhood 6.7”, takes us on an exciting historical and social journey:
How has the family changed over the centuries? Why is it the most successful “success model” in human history – and what happens when it breaks?
An inspiring evening about the importance of parenthood, bonding and the future of our society.

The author will address all these questions and more in his presentation. – And last but not least: The only chance for a democratic, innovative and, above all, healthy society lies in the appreciation and support of motherhood and parenthood!

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026, 4 p.m.: Lecture followed by an audience talk/discussion.

Duration: approx. 2 hours in total. After the lecture, Michael Hüter will be available for free one-to-one discussions in a relaxed format. Number of participants limited to 35 people.

Parents’ workshop: 22.03.2026, 10 a.m.

“I’m staying with my child ...”
A courage-making workshop for conscious parents.

On the following day, Michael Hüter will expand on the content of his lecture in a practical workshop for expectant and young parents.
The focus is on the question that concerns many mothers and fathers today:

How long can, can I, should I stay at home with my child?

Using current research from psychology, neurobiology and sociology, Hüter shows why the early period of intensive bonding between parent and child is so crucial for the healthy development of body, mind and brain.

A workshop that strengthens, encourages and connects – for everyone who wants to see family as a source of strength and a future again.
