Workshop: Cyanotype<\/h1>\n

Painting with light<\/h2>\n

Discover the cyanotype process – an old photographic technique, completely without a camera, using only light. In addition to the classic cyanotype – working with light, sun and the characteristic Prussian blue – this time you will learn an extended, fascinating step from historical photography: tannin tinting.<\/span><\/p>\n

During this three-hour workshop, you will make between 5 and 7 cyanotypes per person, depending on the paper format you choose. A herbarium is at your disposal, but you are also welcome to bring your own materials (plants, lace doilies, silhouettes, negatives, etc.). I will guide you individually through your project. <\/span><\/p>\n

What you can expect in the workshop<\/h3>\n

  • Introduction to cyanotype<\/strong> (materials, exposure, development)<\/li>\n
  • Design your own unique pieces with plants and objects<\/li>\n
  • Revealing step & tannin tint<\/strong>: transformation from blue to sepia<\/li>\n
  • Space for experimentation, mindfulness and creative exchange<\/li>\n
  • No previous knowledge necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
